Private Dining: The Longroom

The intimate Cypress Room is ideal for smaller receptions and dinners. A newer space than the historic Long Room upstairs, the Cypress Room is a warm and private location. Although it’s on the first floor of McCrady’s, the Cypress Room is totally secluded, separated from the main dining room by a charming brick archway. With its seven leather banquettes, copper ceiling tiles, and signature cypress paneling, it conveys the ultimate rich and cozy ambiance. And it’s very flexible – perfect for dinners of up to 40 and receptions of up to 75.

The Chef’s Table

The Chef’s Table is quite simply the finest completely personal dining experience available. In the weeks prior to your event, Chef Sean Brock will meet with you personally to create your menu. Starting with a clean slate and using the finest ingredients available, he will work with you to design each course to your specific tastes. Once the menu is set, Clint Sloan, our Wine Director, will help you select the perfect wines to match each course. And both of them will be available during the evening to personally ensure your enjoyment of every detail.

Of course, an evening this magnificent requires a setting just as spectacular, and we spared no effort in creating it. Hidden behind pocket doors, the finely crafted mahogany paneling and Baccarat chandelier of the Chef’s Table room create the perfect ambiance for the most elegant of meals. The table itself is custom-made of inlaid mahogany and seats up to twelve guests. Service in this exquisite setting features a dedicated collection of the finest bone china, silver flatware and Riedel Sommelier Series glassware.

Our Chef’s Table is a truly private salon, separate from the dining room and reserved for just these special events. For those desiring even greater privacy or a higher level of security, the Chef’s Table room also offers a direct, discrete private entrance on East Bay Street, just steps from the curb.
