Catherine Valente has more than 15 years of special events planning and marketing experience.  Prior to joining McCrady’s, Valente was Director of Conference Services at Harrison Conference Center in Glen Cove, New York, where she was responsible for coordinating and delivering all aspects of the historic property’s meetings and special events business, working with clients ranging from wedding couples to Fortune 500 firms. 

Before joining Harrison, Valente was a Conference Planning Manager Benchmark Hospitaltiy first at Thornwood Conference Center in Westchester County, New York, and then at a private JP Morgan conference center in Manhattan.  At both properties, she was planned high-level corporate events for exacting clients.  She began her hospitality career at the Macklowe Hotel & Conference Center, now the Millennium Broadway Hotel, also in Manhattan.
